In 1996, Ocean Bio-Chem acquired the fully automated twenty-acre manufacturing and distribution Kinpak plastic bottle blowing facility located in Montgomery, Alabama. The twenty-one acre state-of-the-art operation includes immense warehouse, storage and chemical mixing capability.
The 1.2 million liquid gallon storage tanks and 200,000 gallon capacity mixing tanks allow the Company to fill proprietary and custom orders for a variety of products and customers..

A wide variety of bottles can be manufactured on the twenty-acre site. The bottles are then filled, labeled, boxed and shipped via rail or truck. In addition, the Company has a five-acre satellite facility that was also a part of the Kinpak acquisition located on the Alabama River providing access to the Gulf of Mexico. The facility has a fully operational marine terminal and complementing rail operation. Up to thirty freight cars can be accommodated for loading and unloading onto trucks and or barges.

The Kinpak facility, enables the Company to be more competitive by reducing cost levels it previously incurred in manufacturing, bottle acquisitions, and warehousing through sub-contracting/lease. In addition, the Company can now realize profits from contract blending, selling bottles and packaging for private label customers.

In 2003, the Company completed the expansion of its Kinpak manufacturing facility adding 70,000 square feet in storage and staging capacity. The additional space will enable the more efficient handling of raw and finished goods and eliminate costs associated with renting warehouse space.
